Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find the right products for their needs
• Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and responsible consumption through engaging product demos and clear communication
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products by highlighting new or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
• Conduct regular stock checks, organize product placement, and assist with inventory management
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions via in-person interactions and over the phone while practicing professional phone etiquette
• Assist with product demos to educate customers about new offerings and promote product knowledge within the store environment
• Supervise fellow team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to store policies

Experience

• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar retail environment with customer interaction
• Supervising experience is highly valued for leadership opportunities within the team
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer bases
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly interaction both in person and over the phone
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations
• Familiarity with merchandising strategies and stocking procedures to keep displays appealing and organized
• Experience conducting product demos or educational sessions is desirable but not required; training will be provided
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced setting
