Job Overview

The Set – Los Feliz is seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team.

We are looking for individuals who are professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, previous cashiering or retail experience, and a willingness to learn about cannabis products, brands, and promotions.

Previous cannabis experience is not required. We can teach you the industry and our products. What matters most to us is reliability, work ethic, professionalism, and the ability to provide excellent service to every customer.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service
• Assist customers with product selections based on their preferences and needs
• Learn and communicate product information, promotions, and current deals
• Accurately process cash and card transactions using the POS system
• Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked sales floor
• Restock products and assist with merchandising
• Verify customer identification and follow required check-in procedures
• Follow all company policies and California cannabis regulations
• Support inventory and daily store operations as needed
• Work collaboratively with management and other team members
• Stay knowledgeable about new products, brands, and promotions

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous retail, cashiering, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable transportation and consistent punctuality
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow procedures and take direction
• Professional appearance and customer-first mindset

Preferred:

• Previous cannabis dispensary or budtending experience
• Sales or product recommendation experience
• Familiarity with cannabis products and brands
• Interest in developing long-term within the company
