Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Educate customers about product features, effects, and proper usage to promote responsible consumption
• Upsell products by recommending complementary items and informing customers of ongoing promotions or new arrivals
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques
• Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, enhancing customer engagement and sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and stock replenishment activities
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting remote or follow-up inquiries from customers or vendors
• Support store operations by supervising team members when needed and assisting with training on retail procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably with supervisory responsibilities or team leadership experience
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Knowledge of cannabis products, including strain types, consumption methods, and industry regulations is preferred but not required—training will be provided
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and professionalism
• Basic math skills for balancing cash drawers and performing retail calculations confidently
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings
