Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Budtender to join our team at Pipe and Leaf. The Budtender will be responsible for providing a positive and educational experience to our customers, helping them select the right cannabis products to meet their needs, and ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods to guide customers effectively.
• Product Sales: Assist customers in selecting the appropriate cannabis products based on their preferences and needs, making recommendations when necessary.
• Educational Support: Educate customers on the effects, dosages, and potential benefits of various cannabis products, emphasizing responsible consumption.
• Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations, including checking identification and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels, restocking shelves, and managing product displays.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process sales transactions and handle cash following dispensary protocols.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the dispensary clean and organized, including display cases, product storage, and customer areas.
• Security: Adhere to security protocols to ensure the safety of customers, staff, and products.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and cohesive work environment.
• Continuing Education: Stay informed about emerging cannabis trends, regulations, and industry developments through training and self-study.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• MUST have AMCO Marijuana Handlers Permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Reliable and punctual.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require standing for extended periods.
• Weekend and evening shifts may be required.
• Exposure to cannabis and cannabis-related products is common.
