Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and receipt issuance
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance product visibility and appeal
• Conduct regular stock checks, inventory management, and restocking to ensure product availability
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, offering upselling opportunities, and fostering loyalty
• Uphold all legal regulations and store policies related to age verification, product storage, and safety standards
• Assist with basic retail math calculations for sales transactions and inventory counts
• Support team supervision by mentoring new staff and maintaining a positive work environment

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales processes
• Supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail or customer service setting
• Ability to conduct engaging product demos confidently and clearly explain product benefits
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Strong upselling techniques combined with merchandising expertise to maximize sales opportunities
• Experience in stocking, inventory management, and retail math calculations
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
• Familiarity with grocery store operations or similar retail environments is advantageous
