Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Educate customers on product types, effects, dosages, and proper usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs while upselling relevant items to enhance their experience
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting inventory counts to ensure product availability and merchandising standards
• Maintain compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with courteous communication skills and provide information about products or store policies

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a regulated environment such as cannabis or health & wellness products
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash drawer handling
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively and maintain professional phone etiquette
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and a proactive approach to sales opportunities
