Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
• Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and safety guidelines through engaging product demos
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting inventory counts
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Handle cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and balancing at shift end
• Maintain thorough knowledge of store products, merchandising standards, and current promotions
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and age restrictions
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting remote inquiries or taking orders

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
• Supervising experience in retail or similar environments is a plus
• Ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly communicate product benefits
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong phone etiquette with professional communication skills
• Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Experience with stocking, merchandising, and inventory management in retail or grocery settings
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers
• Customer service excellence with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of retail store products, especially in the cannabis or grocery industry, is preferred
