Budtender

Fresh Elizabeth is looking for a knowledgeable, customer-focused Budtender to join our retail cannabis dispensary team as a Sales Associate. In this role, you will serve as the face of our retail store, providing exceptional customer service, guiding customers through our product offerings, and ensuring strict compliance with state cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, verify valid IDs, and ensure full compliance with age and purchase limits
• Guide customers and patients through our menu, answering questions about strain profiles, consumption methods, terpenes, and product effects
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process cash and debit transactions
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked product displays according to state display and labeling guidelines
• Assist with inventory counts, intake, and restock procedures
• Stay up-to-date on company product offerings, promotions, and industry regulations
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for all retail guests

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment
• Basic knowledge of cannabis products, consumption methods, and terminology
• POS and cash-handling experience

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
