Duties

• Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting guests and assisting them with product selections based on their needs and preferences
• Educate customers about product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to enhance their experience
• Maintain well-stocked shelves by stocking, merchandising, and organizing products according to store standards
• Conduct inventory checks, assist with stock rotation, and support stock replenishment efforts
• Ensure all sales comply with legal regulations and store policies, including verifying customer IDs and maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering, preferably within a dispensary or similar environment with POS systems familiarity
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively about products and store policies
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence
• Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally both in-store and over the phone
• Ability to handle cash register operations accurately while maintaining attention to detail in cash drawer handling

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
