Duties

• Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting patrons and answering their questions with confidence and clarity
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through stocking, merchandising, and organizing products on shelves to ensure an appealing store presentation
• Educate customers about product effects, usage, and safety guidelines to promote responsible consumption
• Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, highlighting their benefits and features to encourage sales
• Handle retail store operations such as cashiering, retail math calculations, and ensuring compliance with phone etiquette and customer communication standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and POS systems
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
• Demonstrated ability in upselling and promoting products effectively to meet sales goals
• Familiarity with cash register operations, retail math, cash handling procedures, and cash drawer handling
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service while adhering to all legal regulations related to cannabis sales
• Basic math skills for transactions, inventory management, and sales reporting
• Previous experience in supervising staff or managing stock is preferred but not required

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
