We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will play a vital role in educating customers about our products, assisting them in making informed choices, and ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in our dispensary.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding cannabis products.
• Provide detailed information about various strains, edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis-related items.
• Utilize cash handling skills to process transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Supervise junior staff members and provide training as needed to enhance team performance.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products based on their preferences.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and state regulations related to cannabis sales.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in the grocery store or similar environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems is essential.
• A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various products is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when needed.
• Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
