Budtender

We're Growing our team at The Cake House Ann Arbor! We're looking for motivated and customer-focused team members who can thrive on the sales floor as a Budtender!

This role is perfect for someone who is sales-driven, personable, and reliable, with strong customer service skills and the ability to represent our brand.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and personalized cannabis product consultations.
• Listen well and communicate effectively with a diverse audience
• Educate customers on product knowledge, promotions, and responsible consumption.
• Work in a team focused environment
• Responsible for sales and patient experience by maintaining a tidy, safe and inviting store environment.
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
• Handle cash accurately with correct discount application.
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
• Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Restock inventory
• Clean shelves, organize inventory; maintain organized efficient workspace
• Must be able/willing to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening and holiday shifts

Required Skills/Abilities:

Skills/Qualifications:

• 2 years in retail or sales
• Ability to deal with different personalities, providing excellent customer service to all clients.
• Knowledge of cannabis/brands preferred or a strong willingness to learn
• Must be able to work weekends, nights included.

Physical Requirements

• Requires extended periods of standing
• Requires extensive keyboard work for product entry
• Requires bending and reaching into inventory storage bins
• Requires twisting
• Requires lifting 30-50 lbs.
• Other duties assigned by the Management Team
