Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive displays in line with merchandising standards
• Conduct upselling techniques to recommend additional products and maximize sales opportunities
• Manage retail store product knowledge by staying informed about new arrivals, promotions, and industry trends
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette, providing clear information and support

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience with supervising or leadership responsibilities preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience operating POS systems, cash registers, and performing retail math calculations accurately
• Knowledge of cannabis products, including the ability to conduct product demos confidently
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions
• Ability to handle cash handling procedures responsibly and maintain an organized cash drawer
• Familiarity with merchandising standards and stock management practices in a retail environment
• Basic math skills necessary for retail transactions and inventory management
