Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
• Educate customers about product features, effects, and usage through engaging product demos
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Upsell products by recommending complementary items and promoting new or featured products
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
• Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and manage stock levels accurately
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely
• Assist with basic cashiering duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts
• Support in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership capabilities is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions is advantageous
• Basic math skills necessary for sales transactions and stock management
