The Role

Muse Cannabis Co. is looking for Budtenders who love connecting with people, learning about cannabis, and creating a thoughtful, personalized guest experience.

As a Budtender, you’ll help guests feel comfortable exploring cannabis — listening to what they’re looking for, answering questions, and sharing knowledgeable recommendations without the hard sell. You’ll also help keep the store running smoothly and looking its best.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. Bring your curiosity, compassion, and willingness to learn — we’ll help you build the knowledge.

What You’ll Do

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
• Listen first and help guests discover products that are right for them — never push.
• Build your cannabis knowledge and share accurate, responsible product information.
• Process transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Check ID and follow all cannabis regulations and store procedures.
• Restock products and keep the store clean, organized, and beautifully presented.
• Support inventory counts, receiving, and loss prevention.
• Jump in wherever needed to support your teammates and keep the store running smoothly.
• Help create an environment where guests feel comfortable asking questions and learning about cannabis.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum age of 19.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• 2+ years of retail, hospitality, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
• A warm, approachable style and a natural ability to connect with people.
• A genuine interest in cannabis and ongoing product education.
• Strong customer service instincts without the hard sell.
• You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a busy environment.
• Ability to obtain the required provincial cannabis certification.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal record check.
