Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and dependable Budtender to join our medical cannabis dispensary team in Mississippi. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist registered medical cannabis patients with product selection, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with all applicable Mississippi medical cannabis laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Mississippi Medical Cannabis Work Permit or meet the applicable state requirements for obtaining and maintaining one before beginning work.
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle cash, operate a point-of-sale system, and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to follow state regulations, dispensary policies, and safety procedures.
• Previous retail, customer service, or cannabis industry experience is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional dispensary experience.
• Assist eligible patients with understanding available products and making informed selections.
• Explain product types, labels, and general product information within the limits of applicable laws and training.
• Verify patient identification and eligibility according to dispensary procedures.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with restocking products.
• Keep the sales floor, displays, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all applicable Mississippi medical cannabis regulations and company policies.
• Protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Report discrepancies, safety concerns, or compliance issues to management.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer service and operational goals.

Work Requirements

• Must maintain any required Mississippi Medical Cannabis Work Permit throughout employment.
• Must comply with all applicable state and local regulations.
• Must be available to work assigned shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Must demonstrate honesty, professionalism, dependability, and a commitment to patient service.
