Job Overview

The Set – Los Feliz is looking for a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Budtender / Register Associate to join our team.

This position is responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions accurately, maintaining product knowledge, and helping keep daily store operations running smoothly. We are looking for someone who communicates well, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Cannabis industry experience is preferred, but we are also open to candidates with strong retail, cashiering, hospitality, sales, or customer service backgrounds who are motivated to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with product selection based on their needs and preferences
• Maintain strong knowledge of cannabis products, brands, promotions, and product categories
• Accurately process cash and electronic transactions using the POS system
• Verify customer information and follow all required compliance procedures
• Maintain accurate cash handling and register procedures
• Keep the sales floor, register areas, displays, and customer areas clean and organized
• Restock and organize merchandise as needed
• Assist with product merchandising and promotional displays
• Support inventory procedures and daily store operations
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Help create a welcoming, efficient, and professional customer experience
• Complete additional store duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous retail, cashiering, hospitality, sales, or customer service experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and dependable work ethic
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions accurately
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Willingness to learn products, procedures, and store operations
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred:

• Previous cannabis dispensary or cannabis retail experience
• Familiarity with cannabis products, brands, and product categories
• Previous POS or cash-handling experience
• Retail sales experience
• Interest in developing leadership and management skills
• Desire to grow with the company long-term

Compensation

$18.50–$25.00 per hour

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, with higher compensation available based on relevant experience, qualifications, performance, and level of responsibility.
