Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Buffer/Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, performing precise dimensional measurements, interpreting production documents, and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency to contribute to the production of high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Operate polishing and buffing machinery to achieve desired surface finishes on products.
• Conduct dimensional measurements to verify that parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Interpret production documents, including work orders and technical specifications, to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
• Follow safety standards and protocols in all aspects of production to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform shop math calculations as needed for measurements, adjustments, and quality checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area to support efficient production workflows.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve polishing processes.

Skills

• Experience with machine operation specific to buffing and polishing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail for precise dimensional measurements.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production documentation.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to manufacturing environments.

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
