Bug Bounty Engineer

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Security Engineer to join our growing team!

About the Role: As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in protecting our systems, applications, and data from evolving cyber threats. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions, as well as responding to security incidents and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced security professional to contribute to a secure and resilient infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across various platforms (cloud, on-premise, endpoints).
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Monitor security systems and tools for alerts, anomalies, and potential threats.
• Respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to integrate security into the SDLC (Secure Software Development Life Cycle) and DevOps processes.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools.
• Educate and train employees on security best practices and awareness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Participate in compliance audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001 – customize based on relevance).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 10 years of experience (e.g., 3+ years) in a security engineering or similar role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, WAF, VPN).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and best practices.
• Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security auditing tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves):

• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate).
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and forensics.
• Experience with security automation and orchestration.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
