The Opportunity

AMI HomeHub is after a solid, experienced Builder/Carpenter to join our crew in Christchurch. You’ll be hands on with residential reinstatement work, helping get homes back to where they need to be. If you take pride in doing the job right and enjoy working with a good team, we’d like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carpentry/building works and maintenance
• Labour tasks when required (light demolition and strip out)
• Insurance reinstatements such as water, fire and impact damage
• Working area tidy up where required
• Assist with painting, plastering and flooring if required
• Prompt reporting on supplied tech to case managers and estimators
• Great communication skills is a must

What We're Looking For

• Proven construction and carpentry skills across a broad range of works
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience as a builder
• Large focus on quality and customer experience
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the Case Managers
• LBP qualification a bonus but not required
