| Position Summary |
| The Builder/Assembler will be responsible for serving as a team member in a work team which assembles wooden shelves, brackets,components, and faux beams. They may also function as an inspector/packaging worker with other accessory items. |
| Essential Responsibilities | |
| - Operates a variety of hand tools safely and efficiently, including drills, saws, nail guns, hot glue guns, knives, clamps, and sanders. Must be able to work with wood, wood filler, glue, sandpaper, dust, etc. - Works with others in a close-quartered area and promotes team relations. - Maintains work pace required to achieve production demands. - Uses measuring devices to read and preform simple mathematical calculations as needed. - Performs additional projects as assigned by supervisor. - Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures. - Performs other duties as assigned. |
| Basic Qualifications (Required) |
| - Must be 18 years of age or older. - High School Diploma and GED - Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements. - Use of proper PPE and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights. - Demonstrated basic math, interpersonal, and reasoning skills. - Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions. - Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed. |
| Preferred Qualifications |
| - Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment. - Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment. |

| - Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust. - 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp. - 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception. - 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment. - 10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting. - Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance. - Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance. |
