Who We Are

V3 Sports is a nonprofit organization rooted in North Minneapolis, dedicated to elevating our community through wellness, fitness and education. Since 2007, we've created opportunities for youth, families, and adults to live healthier lives through aquatics, fitness, education, and community programming. In 2024, V3 Sports opened the V3 Sports Center, a state-of-the-art community wellness destination featuring an award-winning aquatics facility, modern fitness spaces, and programs designed to serve people of all ages. Every day the V3 Center brings people together to improve their health, build confidence, and strengthen community.

Wages

$16.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Schedule

The schedule for this position will vary; it will consist of 5 – 20 hours per week, generally within the business operating hours, Monday through Sunday.

Job Summary

V3 Sports' Building & Grounds Worker will provide the opportunity to support clean, safe, and functional spaces for our programs and events through hands-on maintenance, landscaping, and customer service—all while ensuring staff and guests have what they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Regular cleaning and upkeep of both the Genesis pool and therapy pool.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitize, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming restrooms, lobby, hallways, multipurpose rooms, locker rooms and other areas as needed.
• Refill paper towels, soap dispensers, toilet paper and other supplies as needed.
• Be the point of contact for external rentals.
• Help with event or meeting setup and teardown.
• Ensuring perimeter of the building is free of any visible trash.
• Assist with snow removal at building entrances in support of the contracted snow removal services.

What You Bring

• You understand the value of customer service and present yourself professionally.
• You’re comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing regular physical labor.
• You work well with others and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and the public.
• You are known for being dependable, punctual, and detail oriented.
• You have experience with events, including setup and teardown.
• You are able and willing to maintain current CPR, First Aid, AED, and BBP certifications. (For new hires, training will be provided during onboarding.)
