Building Construction Worker

Job Summary

Paradise Construction is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Building Construction Worker to support daily building construction and job-site operations. The ideal candidate will assist with site preparation, material handling, installation, demolition, basic construction tasks, cleanup, and general project support while helping maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily building construction activities and job-site operations.
• Prepare, clean, and organize construction work areas.
• Load, unload, carry, and move building materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist skilled workers, supervisors, and crew members with assigned tasks.
• Use hand and power tools safely when trained and authorized.
• Measure, position, and prepare construction materials according to instructions.
• Assist with framing, installation, assembly, demolition, repair, and maintenance work.
• Perform digging, lifting, hauling, mixing, and other general construction tasks.
• Assist with preparing work surfaces and materials for construction activities.
• Remove construction debris and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and securing building materials.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, building, remodeling, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move construction materials and equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday schedule may be available.
• Overtime, early mornings, or occasional weekend work may be required depending on project needs.
