Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repairs: Oversee HVAC, building automation, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and life safety systems, ensuring all work is completed per lease obligations and industry standards (ASHRAE, BOMA).
• Documentation: Use work order systems to track scheduled maintenance, tenant requests, and emergencies.
• Contractor Management: Coordinate third-party contractors, develop scopes of work, solicit bids, and inspect contractor performance.
• Inspections & Safety: Regular building inspections to ensure safety compliance (OSHA).
• Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for tenants and property managers, addressing concerns with professionalism and urgency.

Key Skills & Qualities:

• Technical Proficiency: Experience maintaining and overseeing building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Independent & Proactive: Take initiative to address issues before they arise, ensuring continuous operation.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a focus on tenant satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years in commercial building maintenance preferred.
• Physical Demands: Must lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and work in various environments.
