Building Engineer II (Licensed) - Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Bacolod

Role Overview

We are seeking a licensed, results-driven Building Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to lead our property maintenance and facility operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment functionality, driving utility energy-conservation measures, overseeing construction compliance, and managing safety programs to protect property assets and reduce operational liabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility & Equipment Operations: Conduct routine inspections of all equipment and building facilities; implement proactive preventive maintenance schedules and handle corrective maintenance.
• Cost Efficiency & Energy Management: Monitor utility consumption and execute energy-conservation and cost-saving initiatives to maintain high operational performance at optimized costs.
• Project & Construction Management: Prepare and review project plans, estimates, and scopes of work; closely monitor construction and fit-out projects to ensure strict compliance with building guidelines.
• Safety & Risk Mitigation: Monitor and enforce comprehensive property safety programs to prevent hazards and reduce property liability.
• Technical Documentation & Communication: Track and update work request statuses; manage testing, verification, validation processes, scheduling, and as-built documentation.
• Stakeholder Briefings: Prepare and present technical briefings and presentations to cross-functional teams and management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional License: Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• Experience: At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in the Mall, Retail, or Property Management industries.
• Core Competencies: Strong technical background, excellent project oversight skills, thorough understanding of facility safety protocols, and effective communication skills.
