BUILDING FACADE DESIGNER - 3D MODELLING

About the Role

We’re looking for a BUILDING FACADE DESIGNER with a strong background in 3D MODELLING using RHINO.

In this role, you will be focused on designing building facades with an emphasis on using 3d modelling as the main tool. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and will expose you to the highly specialized world of building facades. These projects in New York are subject to some of the most stringent building standards in the world - experience here is highly valued and sought after in the international construction community.

Work Hours

• SLB is a US based company, and collaboration with US based teams is necessary - candidates must be willing to work from 7:00 pm-3:00 am (PH time), 40 hours a week.
• This position is currently fully remote - however once the Philippine office in Makati is established, this candidate must be open to office time 2 to 3 times a week (negotiable).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high‑fidelity 3D models in Rhino and/or Revit for complex building façades, including parametric and freeform geometries.
• Manage, interpret and/or produce concept drawings, proposal drawings or shop drawings using Rhino, Autocad or Revit.
• Translate architectural concepts, sketches, and technical drawings into accurate digital models.
• Produce façade details, panelization studies, and geometry rationalization.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure constructability and alignment with project requirements.
• Prepare model exports, diagrams, and visualizations for presentations, and documentation.
• Maintain organized model structures and adhere to internal modeling standards.

Overall Qualifications

• Professional experience with building façade systems (unitized curtain walls, stick-built curtain walls, window walls, glazing, rainscreen cladding systems, specialty façades, etc). This is a HARD REQUIREMENT

• Professional experience DRAWING and DESIGNING building façade systems (unitized curtain walls, stick-built curtain walls, window walls, glazing, rainscreen cladding systems, specialty façades, etc). This is a HARD REQUIREMENT

• Professional experience in Rhino 3D modeling, within architecture or façade engineering. This is a HARD REQUIREMENT

• Professional experience in Revit 3D modeling, within architecture or façade engineering. This is a HARD REQUIREMENT

• Knowledge of façade performance considerations (thermal, structural, acoustic). HARD REQUIREMENT

• Strong understanding of geometry, materials, and fabrication constraints.

• Proficiency with Grasshopper is highly preferred.

• Proficiency with Dynamo is highly preferred.

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and engineering details.

• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative design environment.

• Must be able to speak English fluently and is capable of presenting complex designs and ideas in English
