BUILDING FACILITIES MANAGER

At Constant Building Management, we're looking for an experienced Building Manager who shares our commitment to responsiveness and providing a high level of service and care for a portfolio of residential apartments and commercial buildings based in and around Auckland’s CBD. We've built our reputation on attention to detail and proactive building management – now we're seeking someone exceptional to help support our next phase of growth.

THE ROLE

Working alongside our Managing Director and our team of Building Managers, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of part of our portfolio, ensuring the buildings under your charge receive the highest standard of care. As we continue to grow, this role offers the opportunity for career progression. The right candidate will come on a journey with us, taking on increasing scope and responsibility as we welcome new properties into our management portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a select group of residential and commercial buildings
• Oversee building compliance and maintenance programs
• Manage key capital works projects and contractor relationships
• Deal with occupant requests and communications and maintain strong and positive relationships with unit owners, residents and Body Corporate committees
• Drive continuous improvement in our service delivery

YOU'LL BRING

• A friendly, calm and approachable demeanour
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Great written and verbal communication
• Practical problem-solving abilities
• A minimum of 5-years experience in building/facilities management, ideally with experience working with Body Corporates
• A commitment to maintaining high standards
• Experience in using MyBos and Claude advantageous
• Ability to embrace tech and AI a must.
