BUILDING MAINTENANCE

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep, functionality, safety, and overall condition of the company’s buildings, facilities, equipment, and utilities. The position performs preventive and corrective maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair works, to support safe and efficient daily operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of company buildings, facilities, equipment, and utilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and facility-related issues.
• Carry out electrical maintenance, plumbing maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Perform carpentry, painting, fixture installation, and other general repair works as needed.
• Identify and report facility defects, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform necessary corrective actions.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed safely, properly, and in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain and properly use tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma / Vocational Training or its equivalent
• 2-3 years hands-on general facility maintenance
• Valid driver's license (often requires traveling across properties or managing facility vehicles)
