Building Management System (BMS) Operator

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Building Management System (BMS) Operator to monitor and operate building systems and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all connected facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the BMS control system for HVAC, electrical, lighting, pumps, water systems, and other building services.
• Monitor alarms, equipment status, temperature, pressure, and other system parameters.
• Identify equipment faults and take appropriate corrective action.
• Respond to BMS alarms and coordinate with maintenance teams for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Monitor HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Maintain daily logs, operational records, and incident reports.
• Monitor energy consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with technicians, engineers, security, and other facility management teams.
• Follow preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Report abnormal conditions, equipment failures, and safety issues to the concerned supervisor.
• Ensure building systems operate according to required standards and procedures.
• Perform routine checks of BMS screens, alarms, trends, and system schedules.
• Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a BMS Operator / BMS Technician / Building Automation Operator.
• Knowledge of HVAC and basic electrical/mechanical building systems.
• Experience monitoring and operating BMS software and control panels.
• Ability to understand BMS alarms, trends, schedules, and equipment status.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
• Technical diploma or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
• Facility management or commercial building experience is an advantage.
