Sallewanlai Property Management Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced and responsible Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential property in Cheras.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth building operations, maintaining service standards, coordinating site teams and contractors, and maintaining good relationships with residents and the JMB/MC.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall daily operations and management of the property
• Supervise building staff, including maintenance, security and cleaning teams
• Coordinate and monitor contractors, service providers and maintenance works
• Liaise professionally with residents, JMB/MC members, vendors and relevant parties
• Attend to complaints, operational issues and maintenance matters promptly
• Ensure common areas, facilities and building systems are properly maintained
• Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and follow up on outstanding works
• Assist with budgeting, quotations, purchasing and operational expenditure
• Prepare operational reports and updates for management and JMB/MC
• Ensure compliance with building policies, safety requirements and relevant regulations
• Lead the site team and maintain a professional standard of service

Requirements

• Previous experience in building, condominium or property management
• Experience as a Building Manager, Assistant Building Manager or Senior Building Executive is preferred
• Good leadership and people-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle residents, committees, contractors and site-related issues professionally
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage day-to-day site operations
• Familiarity with JMB/MC operations and strata management will be an advantage
• Basic computer literacy and ability to prepare reports
