Building Manager

About the role

This role plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our residential property. As Building Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings operate efficiently and safely whilst providing excellent service to residents.

Location : Klang Valley

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of residential buildings and common areas
• Manage and supervise building staff, contractors and service providers to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards
• Conduct regular inspections of the building structure, facilities and grounds to identify maintenance issues and arrange repairs
• Maintain accurate records of building maintenance, repairs, inspections and expenditures
• Respond promptly to resident complaints and concerns, ensuring satisfactory resolution
• Implement and enforce building policies, safety regulations and emergency procedures
• Budget and manage operational costs whilst maintaining service quality
• Coordinate with utility providers and service contractors for the efficient running of essential services
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations and property management standards
• Liaise with residents and management to communicate building updates and maintenance schedules

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Building Manager or in a similar property management role

• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, facilities management and property operations

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, staff and contractors

• Proficiency in building management systems and property management software

• Knowledge of compliance requirements in Malaysia

• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

• Relevant qualifications in property management or building services management would be advantageous
