Building Manager

Role objective: To act as the single point of contact for the administration, maintenance and daily operational requirements of the entire residential property, ensuring that the families receive efficient and professional service.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the overall administration and upkeep of the building.
• Coordinate electricians, plumbers, carpenters, appliance technicians, water-filter service providers and other maintenance vendors.
• Coordinate with drivers, security personnel, housekeeping staff and other service staff.
• Ensure breakdowns and maintenance requests are addressed promptly.
• Monitor preventive maintenance, service schedules, repairs and vendor performance.
• Coordinate logistics and arrangements for family gatherings, celebrations and other events.
• Maintain records of service providers, expenses, maintenance schedules and pending jobs.
• Handle day-to-day requirements proactively, with discretion and confidentiality.
• Ensure a high standard of service, presentation and operational readiness throughout the property.

Preferred candidate profile

• The candidate must be exceptionally presentable, smart, well-groomed, articulate and professional. He should communicate confidently, deal effectively with vendors and household staff, and be comfortable interacting with affluent families.
• Previous experience in luxury residential property management, estate administration, premium hospitality or facilities management would be particularly relevant.
• Critical requirements: Strong ownership, excellent coordination skills, a service-oriented attitude, discretion, flexibility with working hours and the ability to anticipate problems rather than merely respond to instructions.
