Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and driving sales through effective merchandising. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for customers and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. This is a fully in person role.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal.
• Ensure inventory levels are maintained, reporting any discrepancies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Support supervisory staff by assisting in training new employees and providing guidance when needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
• Use social media to promote items.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Experience in retail sales, including knowledge of store operations.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Fast learner.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that drive sales.
