What they need
I am currently recruiting for a Building Safety Manager to join a very close client of mine on a 6-month hybrid working basis. The role has a big focus on building safety, fire safety and major works.
Location: Midlands
Rate: Negotiable DOE Inside IR35
Contract: 6-months
Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competence to the building safety regulator (BSR) and meet the requirements of the new Fire Safety Bill and Building Safety agenda.
- Responsibility for carrying out inspections, defect diagnosis and taking appropriate action.
- Completing Gateway 2 applications, Mandatory Occurrence reports and Gap Analysis.
- Ensure that the Golden Thread is continuously up to date to maintain safety.
Qualifications and Essential Experience:
- CIOB Level 6 or working towards
- Golden Thread
- Working with High Risk Buildings (HRB)
