Building Services Engineer (BSE)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Building Services Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site coordination, technical reviews, and engineering documentation across multi-disciplinary MVAC, Fire Services, Electrical, and Plumbing & Drainage (BS/MEP) installations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily site engineering duties and coordination concerning MVAC, Fire Services, Electrical, and Plumbing & Drainage systems
• Review and assist in approving technical submissions, including shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Apply a strong knowledge of construction processes to supervise on-site installations, monitor work quality, and ensure works adhere to safety standards
• Handle comprehensive engineering documentation and project management tools/processes, including the preparation of regular progress reports for management
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and coordination skills to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-contractors, and external stakeholders
• Troubleshoot day-to-day site issues and resolve engineering clashes or technical difficulties under pressure to maintain project timelines

About you

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Around 3 to 5 years of relevant site experience in building services installation/coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD/BIM software is highly preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
• Excellent coordination and communication skills; able to work independently under pressure
