Building Services Inspector

Diocesan Building and Development Commission (DBDC) is inviting applications for the following position for an Energy Reduction Project involving building services retrofitting works for about 66 Catholic Diocesan and Caritas Schools. (11-month contract from early December 2026 to end October 2027 with 10% gratuity)

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in building construction / retrofitting works
• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Obtained valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
• Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE, OR Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSE
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently under minimal supervision

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with Contractors, Users, Quantity Surveyor & following instructions from in-house Engineers
• Supervising retrofitting works and monitoring site activities
• Carrying out pre-tender site survey & post-work remeasurement
