Building Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Building Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. In this role, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems to guarantee optimal building performance. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and reliability across all building systems, fostering a safe and productive environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities

• Must have license and car.
• Oversee mechanical systems repair, including electrical systems, plumbing, and other mechanical components.
• Manage maintenance repair procedures using Appfolio to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history.
• Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex issues related to mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Develop and implement facilities management strategies to optimize system performance while minimizing downtime.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety inspections, schematics, and system troubleshooting reports.
• Manage facilities maintenance teams effectively by providing leadership, training on safety regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge with expertise in electrical system, plumbing system maintenance and repair, and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safety management practices within industrial or commercial environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
• Experience managing facilities management software such as AppFolio for work order tracking and inventory control.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Must be able to check in with management and give updated reports.
