Building Supervisor

About the role

CMG Retail Inc. is seeking a dedicated Building Supervisor to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence and safety of our facilities. As Building Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of building systems and infrastructure, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and structural components function optimally. This role is essential to supporting our retail operations and creating a safe, comfortable environment for our customers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of building maintenance and engineering teams to ensure efficient facility operations
• Monitor and maintain all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and security systems
• Conduct regular inspections of the building structure, equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards
• Prepare and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring preventive maintenance is carried out on a timely basis
• Respond promptly to building emergencies, outages and system failures, implementing corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections and equipment performance
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards
• Manage budgets allocated for building maintenance and operational expenses
• Supervise staff training on safety procedures and proper equipment operation

What we're looking for

• Diploma or certification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management or building services operations
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing and fire safety systems
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
• Sound understanding of building codes, safety standards and compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team coordination
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and basic computer literacy
• Valid driver's license and willingness to be available for emergency call-outs
• Physical fitness and ability to perform inspections and minor repairs as needed
