About the role

J.V Angeles Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Bulldozer Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a key position within our construction operations, based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. As a Bulldozer Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy earthmoving equipment to prepare construction sites, manage terrain, and support the successful execution of our construction projects. This role is essential to ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers and related heavy machinery to excavate, grade, and level land in accordance with project specifications and site plans
• Prepare construction sites by clearing vegetation, removing obstacles, and establishing proper drainage
• Perform regular equipment maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and fellow team members
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction personnel to understand project requirements and timelines
• Operate equipment with precision to minimize material wastage and ensure cost-effective project completion
• Transport and position equipment, materials, and debris as required across construction sites
• Maintain detailed records of daily operations and equipment usage

What we're looking for

• Valid Heavy Equipment Operating License (HEOL) or equivalent certification from a recognized authority
• Minimum of 3 years' proven experience operating bulldozers and similar heavy earthmoving equipment
• Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination for precision equipment operation
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and site specifications
• Reliable communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with construction crews and supervisors
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding work in various weather conditions
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and report equipment maintenance issues
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing site conditions and project demands
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and compliance requirements in the Philippines is advantageous
