Aspire Transportation LLC is hiring an experienced, dependable, safety-focused bus driver for school routes, field trips, and charter transportation. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in punctuality, effective communication, and providing safe, reliable service.

Pay, Sign-On Bonus, and Probationary Period

• Starting pay: $30 per hour.
• Six-month probationary period: Attendance, punctuality, safety, communication, and job performance will be evaluated.
• Pay increase: Upon completion of the six-month probationary period, drivers will receive a $2-per-hour raise, increasing pay to $32 per hour.
• $1,000 sign-on bonus: Earned after completing both at least 90 calendar days of employment and 455 hours actually worked. Both requirements must be met. The bonus will be paid on the next regularly scheduled payday after eligibility is reached, subject to applicable payroll taxes. The six-month probationary period does not delay bonus eligibility.

Required Qualifications

• Have held a commercial driver’s license for at least two years.
• Have at least two years of experience driving buses that are 40 feet or longer.
• Hold a valid California Class A or B commercial driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements and qualifications appropriate for the vehicles operated.
• Hold a current California School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Have a current medical examiner’s certificate.
• Be available for full-time employment and weekend work as needed.
• Be familiar with roads and destinations throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County.
• Be proficient with GPS navigation and map reading, including identifying safe, appropriate bus routes.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance, punctuality, and effective communication.
• Follow directions from management and dispatch and comply with company procedures.
• Write clear, accurate reports using proper grammar.
• Be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required for job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Meet applicable driver qualification, driving-record, background-check, and drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and charter passengers.
• Arrive on time and follow assigned pickup and drop-off schedules.
• Review trip details, routes, and instructions before departure.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch about delays, schedule changes, vehicle concerns, and incidents.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and passenger checks.
• Submit accurate trip sheets, inspection records, and incident reports on time.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable traffic rules.
• Keep buses clean, secure, and ready for service.
• Treat passengers, school staff, customers, and coworkers professionally and respectfully.
• Work assigned school routes, field trips, charter trips, and weekends as needed.
