Responsibilities

• Safely operate school buses and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle maintenance and safety standards are met, addressing mechanical issues promptly when necessary
• Transport passengers along designated routes or on-demand trips, providing timely and courteous service
• Maintain accurate logs of trips and mileage in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members using clear communication skills to coordinate routes and address any issues
• Ensure the cleanliness and overall good condition of the bus to promote a safe and welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus operation (e.g., passenger and school bus endorsement) or willing to go through training to attain license
• Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles involving motor coach or school bus operations
• Minor mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor maintenance issues
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs courteously and efficiently
• Ability to operate various types of buses safely under different conditions while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $23.47 - $26.51 per hour
