Bus Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Driver to join our team. The Transportion Driver will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from our facility to home, also to and from our facility to school. Our morning routes are from 6:00 am - 9:00 am. Our afternoon routes are from 2:00 pm - 5pm. This role requires attention to detail, strong driving skills, and the ability to handle transportating young children.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport children

• Follow designated routes for efficient delivery

• Load and unload children, ensuring proper signature from recipents of the child

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

• Properly document times of delivery and completion of transportation forms

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation

Experience

• Prior experience in transportation, driving, or childcare operations is preferred

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to drive various types of vehicles including commercial buses/vans

• Experience with route driving, courier services, or delivery driver roles is a plus

• Familiarity with working with children is advantageous

• Commercial driving experience is beneficial

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• School bus driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Passenger Endorsement (Preferred)
• CDL (Preferred)
• CDL B (Preferred)
