Bus driver (MINI BUS)

CRESTWOOD DAY SCHOOL AND CAMP is seeking a full time (5 hours per day) school van driver who can start immediately. Additional hours and pay working at the preschool between runs is available - see below for details.

Position Summary:

FULL-TIME or PART-TIME (Seasonal) available.

Private Day School and Camp seeking bus drivers for school and summer camp routes. (mini-bus)

CDL Class C required. We do not train employees for the CDL test or road test.

Schedule:

• Variable Hours - AM shift - 7:30 AM to 9:15 AM ; PM shift 1:45 PM to 5:00 PM; additional (non Driving) hours available (9:30 AM to 1:30 PM); Both shifts available
• Salary: $25 per hour (for Driving)

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the bus
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers
• Drivers maintain current status of all qualifications for commercial driving according to company, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete all training and testing as required by the company, state, and federal agencies.
• Drivers also handle maintenance checks.

Education, Skill, and Abilities:

• CDL with a passenger endorsement preferred; N1 restriction or better
• Must be able to board and exit the bus and assist students boarding and exiting the bus.
• Able to work weekdays.
• Enjoy working with young students and children
• Exceptional customer service skills.
