What they need
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance of buses and vehicles
- Assist senior mechanics with basic inspections, tire checks, and light component replacements
- Complete routine cleaning and detailing of buses and school vehicles
- Support shop operations by maintaining a clean and safe facility while operating shop tools, jacks, and hoists as directed under supervision
- Maintain accurate service records
- Display a positive attitude, a willingness to learn heavy-duty vehicle systems, basic mechanical aptitude, and an ability to work independently
- Other duties as assigned by Bus Maintenance Supervisor
