Duties

• Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for incoming guests, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere
• Assist with food delivery from kitchen to tables when needed, supporting servers in providing excellent service
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing tables, chairs, and floors regularly
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
• Support sanitation protocols by properly disposing of trash and cleaning utensils or service ware
• Ensure all food safety standards are upheld through proper sanitation and handling procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is key!
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist guests effectively
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards within the food industry
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a positive, energetic approach to work
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting regularly
• Experience with table setting, catering support, or kitchen assistance is a plus but not mandatory
