Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring proper table setting and cleanliness for incoming guests
• Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and maintaining a tidy dining area throughout service
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, and supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support kitchen staff with food handling and sanitation duties to uphold food safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by cleaning dining areas, floors, and service stations regularly
• Ensure all food industry sanitation protocols are followed to promote a safe and hygienic environment

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and proper handling procedures within the hospitality industry
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact politely with guests
• Experience in catering or hotel service is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during busy shifts
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace in accordance with health regulations
