Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Buser to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. The Buser plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen and front-of-house staff by ensuring that dining areas are clean, organized, and well-prepared for guests. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food service and wish to gain experience in a culinary setting.

Duties

• Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and efficiently after guests have finished their meals.
• Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking.
• Aid in the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all necessary items are in place for service.
• Handle food items safely and adhere to all food handling guidelines to ensure guest safety.
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service during peak hours, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests.
• Assist with catering events by preparing food stations and replenishing supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bussing or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
• A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn more about food handling, preparation, and banquet services.
