Are you a natural organiser who loves creating seamless systems and supporting teams to do their best work?

At Morphum Environmental, we're looking for an efficient and enthusiastic Business Administrator to join our Auckland team. This is a permanent, full-time role for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, supporting great people, and helping create a workplace where everyone can thrive.

Driven by our vision to create environmental change and sustainable outcomes that will ensure a thriving ecosystem for generations to come, we work with changemakers to restore balance and enhance our natural ecosystems by developing and engineering sustainable, adaptable solutions that will ensure resilient communities into the future.

Our specialist and integrated team provides leading environmental engineering, science, GIS, and sustainability services and delivers pragmatic solutions that leave a lasting impact. This role is instrumental in supporting our client-facing team to perform at their best.

What is the role?

As part of our Business Performance Team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our people, projects, and operations. You'll join a close-knit group of administration, accounts, marketing, people and culture, and project coordination professionals who love collaborating, supporting one another, and having a laugh along the way.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the details right, and loves creating positive experiences for colleagues, clients, and visitors alike.

What You will Do

Examples of our work include:

  • Acting as a friendly first point of contact for general office enquiries and support

  • Delivering office administration, facilities coordination, and regional office support

  • Organising and championing culture, team, regional inclusivity, and wellness activities

  • Supporting tender coordination, document preparation, and quality assurance

  • Managing sustainable procurement processes and supplier relationships

  • Providing event coordination for team activities, client events, and company functions

  • Maintaining administrative systems and processes that support efficient operations

  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other written communications

  • Supporting health and safety policy implementation and workplace compliance

About you

  • You have relevant training or equivalent experience (business, administration, or related field)

  • You have experience establishing and maintaining administrative systems with the adaptability to handle several different tasks at a time

  • Bookkeeping experience is advantageous

  • You have exceptional relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • You have high attention to detail with proven office coordination experience

  • Word, Excel, and Adobe skills are essential

  • You actively engage in a culture of teaching and learning and are willing to continuously develop knowledge of tikanga, diversity, equity and inclusion, sustainable outcomes, and low-carbon initiatives

  • You are located in Auckland

So why work with us?
