Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Business Advisor, you will:

• Provide business advisory to Heartland merchants, providing advice on business and digital transformation, and other areas to enhance their business operations.
• Account manage Heartland merchants to ensure their success and growth.
• Engage stakeholders and merchants through specific projects, fostering their capabilities and independencies.
• Build positive relationships with government agencies, partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Recommend relevant government assistance aligned with the business needs.

Requirements:

We're looking for candidates with:

• Minimum qualification of a Diploma or equivalent.
• Field of study in Sales & Marketing or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with business development experience.
• Experience and knowledge of working with local SMEs, Heartland merchants, or related stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to build relationships across diverse age groups.
• Proficiency in English with good verbal and written skills, is essential. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage to effectively engage with Chinese-speaking Merchants.
• Ability to work independent with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, with a passion for contributing to the heartlands and community.

We organize various events and programs to ensure our members and heartland merchants’ continual participation, learning and improvement to brace the new era of competition. FMAS works very closely with ministries, government agencies and other public and private stakeholders to drive projects to develop and improve heartland businesses.
