Business Analyst (AI & Data Projects)

Our role of Business Analyst will work closely with business users, project managers, data analysts, data engineers, and development teams to translate requirements into practical AI, automation, and data solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems through data, process improvement, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct business-process analysis and identify opportunities for automation, AI adoption, and data-driven improvement.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with data, engineering, and IT teams to define data requirements, business rules, and reporting needs.
• Support the planning and delivery of AI, data analytics, dashboard, automation, and system-integration projects.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), prepare test cases, track issues, and validate delivered solutions.
• Assist stakeholders in interpreting analytical results and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Prepare project documents, status reports, training materials, and user guides.
• Support change-management activities and promote adoption of new AI/data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Project Coordinator, or in a related role.
• Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, documentation, and UAT.
• Experience in handling ERP and/or POS
• Interest or experience in AI, machine learning, data analytics, business intelligence, or digital transformation projects.
• Good understanding of data concepts, including databases, data quality, reporting, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Excel, Python, cloud platforms, or workflow automation tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum project delivery.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to generative AI, LLM-based solutions, chatbot projects, RPA, or data-governance initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, and business users.
